Located in the heart of Normandy, our cottage is ideally situated for enjoying the charms of the coast. Several beaches are easily accessible by car, with the nearest just 20 minutes away.
The typical Normandy beaches, with their pebbles and impressive chalk cliffs, offer landscapes that are both wild and soothing. It’s the perfect setting for beautiful walks, whether along the shore or on the trails high above with views of the sea.
Hike in the countryside
Surrounding our cottage, nature invites you to slow down and recharge your batteries. Numerous hiking, walking, and strolling trails await you in the heart of a peaceful and authentic countryside.
As the seasons change, you’ll pass through vast agricultural landscapes where fields of golden wheat, corn, flax with delicate bluish flowers, and bright rapeseed follow one another. These routes, accessible to everyone, are perfect for a leisurely walk, a family outing, or a more challenging hike.
For a change of pace, forest walks are also available nearby. In the shade of the trees, you’ll enjoy a cool, soothing atmosphere, ideal for reconnecting with nature and observing the local flora and fauna.
Whether you’re a fan of long hikes or simply looking for a relaxing stroll, our surroundings will satisfy all your desires for a getaway.
City tours
Staying at our guesthouse is also an opportunity to explore the region’s iconic towns, rich in history and character.
Starting with Rouen, nicknamed the city of 100 bell towers. There, you can stroll through Place Jeanne d’Arc, admire the majestic Notre-Dame de Rouen Cathedral, and lose yourself in the cobblestone streets of its medieval-charm-filled old town.
A little further afield, let yourself be surprised by Le Havre, a city with a unique style, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Renowned for its modern architecture and vibrant energy, it is also home to France’s largest port, a true gateway to the open sea.
Combining historical heritage with a maritime atmosphere, these urban getaways perfectly complement your stay in the countryside.
